How did African American people dress in the 80’s???
I am going to an 80’s party and don’t quite know what to wear. All of the examples and images I have seen online are only White Americans. Does anyone have any 80’s pics or know of a webiste where I can see black women dressed in the 80’s. No offense to anyone but I really don’t want to wear a floral print dress, or a ballerina skirt with a orange and pink wig. I refuse to beleive black people dressed like this on a day to day basis.
the trend was “black is beautiful”
but black girls dressed the same as white girls the only MAJOR difference was the fact haircare had not yet evolved so they had horrible bangs + bobs 
ewwwww
+ skincare + beauty products also hadn’t made an attempt to reach the black market so that didn’t help much either
